Cathy Abercrombie is a 3rd generation weaver eager to pass along her traditions to future generations. Cathy takes us inside her weaving tradition, built right here in the Cherokee Nation. Phil Konstantin has led an interesting life and has the job history to prove it. Phil takes us on his path from NASA, the California Highway Patrol and to his travels across the nation. In our Cherokee Almanac, we take a look back at our tribe’s earliest encounters with non-Indigenous people.

Sophia Duch is a 12-year-old trick rider with a special connection to her animals. A natural in the saddle, we ride along with Sophie as she takes a moment to “sparkle” as she entertains rodeo crowds across the country.

Cathy Abercrombie is a 3rd generation Cherokee weaver with a dream to see it continue for 7 generations. Cathy takes us inside her weaving tradition and shows us how she’s making her dream a reality.

Phil Konstantin is Cherokee Nation citizen living in San Diego, California. With over 50 different jobs under his belt, most people describe Phil has a jack-of-all-trades and all-around interesting guy.
