As a daughter of the late Wilma Mankiller, principal chief of the Cherokee Nation, Gina Olaya is a true living legacy. Unfortunately she suffers from the same health issues that plagued her mother and many others in her family. By carrying her mother’s memory with her, she navigates a difficult life with grace and continues to serve our tribe.
